Visiting fellows

The International Centre for Comparative Criminology invites leading scholars in the field of criminology and related disciplines to apply to its new visiting fellow program, for stays of up to a year. Fellows will be provided with an office, a computer connected to the internet, access to the university’s libraries and administrative assistance from the Centre’s staff. Unfortunately, no stipend or travel allowances are available. Visiting fellow will be expected to present a seminar during their stay at the Centre. The Centre welcomes English-speaking fellows, but a functional level in French is preferable.

Applications are received throughout the year, and should be sent to :

Mrs Estelle Vendrame
Secrétaire générale
CICC – Université de Montréal
C.P. 6128, succursale centre-ville
Montréal, QC, H3C 3J7

Fax : +1 514-343-2269

The application should include a curriculum vitae, a two or three pages research project stating the activities that will be undertaken at the Centre, and a cover letter stating the projected visit dates. All fields of criminology will be considered, but preference will be given to projects that align with the current interests of the Centre’s researchers.
