CICC-HebdoTHE ICCC’S WEEKLY E-NEWSLETTERCICC-Hebdo is a weekly subscription-based e-newsletter. From the 178 subscribers who received the inaugural edition on October 29, 2008, the newsletter’s readership reached 589 subscribers on May 31, 2009 and continues to grow steadily. This new communication tool has been a great success in terms of information sharing and has generated positive feedback for its dynamic contribution to the field of criminology. CICC-Hebdo is intended as an exchange platform for the criminological community. The first page of the newsletter provides a summary of news and events for the upcoming week, while the second page acts as a bulletin board featuring book releases, job postings, scholarship opportunities and coming events. Our readership spans every continent and includes university researchers, students, graduates, partners, non-profit and government organizations. Our articles are published in English or French, depending on the country or the language in which the activity takes places. From October 2008 to May 2009, 17 % of articles were featured in either English or Spanish. To subscribe, please forward a request to cicc@umontreal.ca.
